Spiritual Forces... In a Dream.

I want to tell you a story about something I experienced.

On April 23, 2024, I had an engagement with a pro-Hamas supporter. He responded to my initial comment about Dr. Michael Brown and the article he linked about anti-Semitism. Here is the discussion in a screenshot.

Notice where he says that I would have bad dreams, seen here:

At the time, I thought, "Yeah, right. I'm going to have bad dreams because I talked bad about Alla? Give me a break."

But then, last night, in the wee hours of the morning on April 25, 2024, I woke up to a nightmare. The nightmare was that someone I knew was going to hurt me with sharp knives and such. It was very scary. I woke up at about 3 AM with the dream. So I thought to myself, "Okay, God. I don't want to believe that Islam is true, but I am willing to go where the truth leads. This seems to be a sign from God. I am listening to God."

Then, I went back to sleep. I thought about talking to the guy and asking him more about his beliefs, but I slept before I asked him.

Then comes the really cool part. After I had gotten back to sleep, I dreamed I was in this church service. Then I dreamed an angel touched me. What did that do to me? I was literally slain in the spirit in my dream. Never experienced anything like that in my life! I have never been slain in the Spirit before.

I recall that on April 14, 2024, I was already thinking about the nature of dreams and getting revelation from them. I show this conversation I had in the Bereans Capturing Christianity private group, seen here:

Eric Metaxas has an amazing testimony based on a dream he had. TBH, I was craving the same thing. So it is amazing that God more or less used this discussion of dreams, the conversation with the Pro-Hamas guy, to be a catalyst for me having something of an extraordinary experience of my own in a dream.

Notice what I say about knowing if it was from God in the above image. I say, "Something they know is coming from God" is to be used as the framework for knowing if the dream is coming from God. And that is exactly what happened to me last night. I knew it was from God. It erased all doubts that I had about following the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and of Christ.

As evidence of the fact I was craving something more of the Spirit, on April 18, 2024, I said this:

So, what is the takeaway from all this? I believe it is unwise to provoke people who believe in other forms of spirituality because you never know what you are getting yourself into. At the same time, if you are open to what God is telling you, he will come to you. "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." Along with that, we must always realize that we are in a Spiritual battle and sometimes Christ, by the Holy Spirit will reign supreme over other gods, such as Alla.
