The Protégé

A man was raised in an obscure go-nowhere beginning

He becomes a protégé in his field at a young twelve years old

He takes on his father's trade for a time, but it didn't stick

When he was 30 years old, he took up practicing his field

Then, tragedy upon tragedy ensues

One of his best students betrayed him, and the rest of his students desert him to die

Experts in his field murdered him at the age of 33--from jealousy, you see

But, his impact in his field is remembered a long time

He became the most influential man in the world based on his field of study

His friends are all willing to die for his thesis

Such humble beginnings

And becoming the most influential figure of all time?

He was clearly onto something!

He filled a need everyone has

His thesis costs nothing to implement and comes with with something infinite to have

You can do it anywhere and at no cost to you!

The one thing it costs you is his own life, too!

He literally laid down his life willingly for his friends

And he calls you his friend if you follow his thesis, so cool!

The best news of all is that he is not dead!

He was brought back to life because his thesis was right!

He is the ultimate achiever, even defying death!

Oh, what might!

What do you make of this man, the man Jesus Christ?

Yeshua Ha'Mashiach--reaper of souls, such delight!

His thesis statement was to repent of your sins and simply believe in Him

Oh, for joy! What a man to save!

Saves us from calamity at the expense of his life!

But the story continues as time rolls on

He'll be your friend forever if you just believe in Him
