The Character of Jesus Christ

You are Good.

You are Just.

You are merciful.

You are righteous.

These words lack meaning

To one who does not see.

For under his authority things flourish.

Under His authority, things work as they should.

Under His commandments, there is goodness.

For under His rule there is no wickedness.

Under His rule, the innocent are made exempt.

Under His salvation, there is justice.

For under his grace, the sinner is redeemed.

Under His grace, we are powered by the Spirit.

Under His pronouncement, there is mercy.

For Under his sacrifice we are atoned.

Under His sacrifice, we will live forever.

Under His goodness, and justice, and mercy, there is His righteousness.
