A Dream of Hell and a Vision of Heaven

It was just before I joined a group from Alisa Childers on her book "Another Gospel?: A Lifelong Christain Seeks Truth in Response to Progressive Christianity". I read on Amazon that I purchased this book on July 20, 2020. I don't have the exact date that I made my post in the private group, but the event must have happened around that time, but possibly a bit later as the book was on released October 5, 2020. So I might tentatively date this dream I had between the end of July and the beginning of August.

Now, if you've been reading my previous articles, you will know there is no shortage of "weird" things that happen to me. This started with my article titled, "A Life to Live" which was released on September 16, 2021. In the article, I talk about going through a mental health crisis I experienced in early January that year. I end up saying, "Things might not Get better, but for those who are "In Christ" everything will work out for our good - even if that happens to be in the life to come in the New Heavens and New Earth.

So, I had just had this dream that was quite impactful for me at the time. I went through a period where I didn't think about it or really have it in my conscious awareness, but something (don't know what) jogged my memory about this dream. I figured I would share it here as it has become relevant to me again.

In my dream, I found myself viewing a very dark place. You could say in some sense it looked like a pure black screen on your phone or computer screen. Now, this was a very lonely place. I didn't see anyone there but it did appear to be a real place people go. Amidst the darkness were these... I guess the only way I would describe it is "spiritual flame" on the bottom of the ground there. There was a sort of suffering this place gave the aura of. But amidst the darkness and flame was a figure - glowing in yellow bright light. The figure seemed to be completely fine. I did get the sense that this person was there for a purpose. Who it was exactly I don't know. I suspect it was a very holy person like Apostle Peter or Jesus. The dream left me going, "I really don't want to go to this place!" Now thinking about it a bit more, it seems that the significance of this dream might be that as bad as things were at the time that things are just going to get worse. However, the Holy figure I saw in the dream seems to be there to comfort us and to show that God will be with us through whatever "hell" we have to face.

Fast forward to October 13, 2021.

I made a YouTube video about this but the gist is that I had a vision of heaven. I can't tell if the vision was about me or someone else. It starts off with The person becoming homeless since they couldn't depend on anyone. Then person moves from Minnesota (my home state) to a warmer state (like North Carolina, for example). In the dream I got the sense that they (whoever they were) were fighting against the evil of their day. Since they were homeless, they really didn't have shelter and didn't have much to their name at all. Then, at one point, the person was ministered to by two angels. They assured the person this was the end of their journey and that they were going to take them to heaven. Then I saw in my vision that there was this yellow veil of a glow. I had thought that entering it would mean I would stop existing, but it was not so. The angels assured me this was a good thing. I recall the angels saying, "Yes, you MIGHT cease to exist, but it will be the most blissful experience you could ever experience." After contemplating it for a while, the person, or me (don't know which) decided to go into the yellow veil. Immediately they got shot up through the heavens to a greater place. In the vision, I saw someone else who is a great teacher who made it into heaven by the skin of their teeth. They were just happy to make it into heaven but they were on a much lower tier of heaven than where I was. In the ascended heaven, I saw who I thought was Adam, the first man. It was like I was in this place where all the people there were high and above who I was - great people of God.

So those are two different experiences I have had. One about hell and one about heaven.
