God is Good

If there was a word for the creation in grandeur

That embodies everything He made so as pure

If there was a word that demonstrates who

What order of mercy He'd accomplish and do

If there was a word for His prophets and decree

That describes his great will so perfectly

If there was a word that showed all the world

What God surely did of the new Adam kindled

If there was a word that illuminates the church

That there is of worth every member been searched

If there was a word for His great love for me

What speaks of His work that He did on that tree

If there is a word that could be understood

Then the word I would use is that He is Good
